Accommodation that you can book on-line:

You can check availability, tariffs and securely book on-line for our chalet and ensuite room accommodation for 2010.

You cannot book our Group Hostel on-line. Please contact direct if you are interested in booking this.

If you want to book accommodation for next year (2011):

2011 availability and tariffs are not yet loaded on the system - please contact direct for 2011 enquiries / bookings.

Room Tariffs

-All rooms are bookable only for private use - we have no 'dormitory' beds. (The cheapest accommodation available for 2 persons is in a twin room.)

-Automatic discounts are applied for a specific number of persons occupying a larger room but not taking all beds.

(E.g. a group of 3 persons who want a triple room; if there is no triple room available but a 6-berth room is, then triple room rate will apply.)

Maximum number of persons in a group that is bookable on-line:

Currently, on-line booking is only available for groups of up to 8 persons. Please contact us direct if you wish to make a booking for a group of 8+.

• Minimum & maximum number of nights that are bookable on-line:
  
• -Maximum number of nights bookable is 14.
• -Minimum number of nights booking for chalet accommodation is 2 to 3, depending on time of year. (Ecept New Year - see below.)
  
• -No minimum number of nights required for room accommodation bookings.
• -Arrival / departure dates can be any day of the week.

• New Year Week 2010 - 11
• -Please note that for New Year bookings, the minimum period of stay, (or payment for) is 7 nights in chalet accommodation & 5 nights in rooms.
• -Arrival date can be any night from December 27th onwards.

Deposit amount payable on booking:

A deposit payment is required for stays of 2 or more nights. Amount payable is dependent on length of stay:

-1 night stay: No deposit payable.

-2 to 6 night stays: 25% deposit of total balance payable.

-7 to 14 night stays: 40% deposit of total balance payable.

The remaining balance is then payable during your stay.

Bed Linen / Towels

-All bed linen is provided, with beds made up on arrival.

-Towel sets are provided on request at an extra £1 per set. Please indoicate on booking form if required.

Extra charges: Chalet electricity:

Electricity is charged extra (with chalet bookings only) under the following booking criteria:
-For stays of at least 1 week, all year round.
-For all stays of 3+ nights between 1st October and 30th April.
Electricity tariffs are read by a meter on arrival / departure. (Not coin operated.) A couple occupying a two-bedroom chalet for a week in July would would expect to pay approximately £5 - £8 extra in electricity charge. Electric tariff does not exceed the maximum allowed resale price.

If you want to bring a dog:

• Please note that we do not accept dogs in room accommodation, only in chalet accommodation.
• We have a limited number of chalets that are available if you have a dog.
• (Maximum of 1 dog in a chalet allowed. Extra charge of £3 per night or £20 for a week or longer. No charge to returning guests.)
• Please do not make a booking through this system if you have a dog, but rather contact us direct to check that a suitable chalet is still available.

• Check-in & Check-out times
• -Check-in time can be any time between 2.30pm and 12.30am. (Or even later by prior arrangment, if you're going to be delayed / very late.)
• -But please just let us know if you are going to be arriving later than 10pm so we know for sure that you're still coming.
• -Check-out time is by 10.30am. Unfortunately, due to our cleaning schedule there is no opportunity to extend this.

Breakfast

-A self-service, continental breakfast is available for an extra £4.50 per breakfast, served in our restaurant between 8am and 9am. (Or earlier on request.)

If this would be required, please indicate on the booking form.

-Cooked breakfasts are available to groups of around 10+ with prior notice before arrival. Please contact direct to arrange this.
